Joe Giudice enjoys cigar on balcony of tiny apartment in Italy after doing laundry and mopping floors during coronavirus lockdown

He used to live in a multi-million dollar mansion in New Jersey when he starred on Bravo’s Real Housewives Of New York with then wife Teresa.

But now Joe Giudice is in more straitened circumstances after being deported to his birth country of Italy last October following a stint in federal prison.

On Wednesday, the 47-year-old gave social media followers a glimpse inside his small apartment in the Salerno region as he continues to live under lockdown due to the coronavirus crisis in Italy.

Joe posted a video of himself to Instagram in which he’s seen enjoying a cigar on the tiny balcony of his hillside apartment building.

From there can be seen terraces of homes below and beyond them, green fields and distant mountains.

‘I just got done doing my laundry, mopped the whole house down and now I’m enjoying a cigar… enjoying the view…’ he explained at the start of the minute and a half clip.

‘This is about as far as I can go at night… so what are you gonna do?’ he said. ‘You have to do something to make the time pass so just keep cleaning.’
