The sprawling property, 26-34 Knightsbridge Parade East, on the Gold Coast, is set to go on auction on Saturday after taking 15 years to complete.
The estate boasts five north-facing blocks on The Sovereign Islands with 106 metres of Broadwater frontage.
The mansion, designed by Brunei architect Bayden Goddard, boasts views of the Broadwater and South Stradbroke Island.

Real Estate agent Amir Mian told Domain there had been strong interest in the property with more than 50 potential buyers viewing the estate on Thursday.

The final build was finished on August 13, with the current owners transforming the forgotten property into the palace Mr Goddard intended it to be.
Mr Mian said the property had an initial asking price of $45million before it was complete – but now it is finished it will be listed for auction in October.

‘With the recent high end trophy home sales on the Gold Coast, with one sale of just under $23million and another for $25million, we have seen there is a high appetite for these types of homes,’ he said.

A dedicated wellness suite features natural mother of pearl mosaic tiles, a massage room, gymnasium and change room with the potential for buyers to add an interior spa, steam room and sauna.

Four parties are expected to register for Saturday’s auction which will be onsite and online at 1pm.
‘We are expecting half the island to turn up, but due to the nature of the property and the need to protect the privacy of bidders, it will be invitation-only inside,’ Mr Mian said.
The home is owned by Perth civil engineer Riccardo Rizzi, who purchased the incomplete house after the previous owners ran out of money halfway through building it.
Mr Rizzi then got all the approval he needed to continue the initial build – including the original design by the Brunei royal family architect Bayden Goddard.
