The hunt for the winner of a $50 million Powerball prize continues as officials confirmed where the winning ticket was bought to try and entice the person to come forward and claim their winnings.
Officials of The Lott confirmed the winning ticket was bought at a newsagency in the NSW mid-north coast town of Forster.
The likely resident of the area is the only division one winner from last Thursday’s draw.

‘The multi-million-dollar winning entry was registered, however, officials from The Lott have not been able to reach the ticketholder on the contact details provided to let them know of their life-changing win,’ a lottery spokesperson told 9News.
‘The Lott officials are urging anyone who purchased an entry into last Thursday’s Powerball draw from Tull’s Newsagency to check their ticket as soon as possible and make contact to claim their prize.’
The winning numbers for the 1384 draw were 6, 9, 14, 25, 27, 31, 33 and the Powerball was 15.
In division two, 26 lucky winners will split more than $811,000 between them, with each taking home $31,222.55.

The draw comes just weeks after a group of 20 mining mates took home $53.3million in the nation’s biggest Powerball jackpot so far.
October’s mega $160million Powerball was won by only three lucky winners, with each becoming about $53million richer.
