Neighbours star Madeleine West has revealed she found herself in a tight situation while dressing up for Halloween.
On Wednesday, the actress wrote in her column for 9Honey that she became stuck in a corset that formed part of her costume.
‘I might be feeling a touch foolish right now,’ the mother of six, 40, said.

She explained that she required two people to help put the corset on, and after arriving home from the shindig, she was too tired to remove it.
The brunette then fell asleep in the corset, causing her a great deal of discomfort.
The morning after, she shared a series of images to Instagram of herself in grey trackpants and with the corset still on.

Unfortunately, without two assistants, she was unable to get the corset off because she lacked the hand-eye coordination to do it herself.
As a result, she called a friend to help her out.
Following the embarrassing mishap, Madeleine came to the realisation that she is not able to do everything on her own.

‘Independence is a prize women fought long and hard for, but instead of a reward, it’s often delivered as a punishment,’ she wrote in her column.
Luckily for Madeleine, the neighbour she had called for help was able to get the corset off without much difficulty.
After being freed, Madeleine said she was reminded of the importance of asking for help in tricky situations.
Say yes! She wrote, ‘I’m gonna say YES when a friend offers to help collect the kids, YES when my beloved offers to cook me dinner while I nap on the couch (or play The Witcher on his PC), and I will let myself have a good cry’

The actress shares six children with celebrity chef Shannon Bennett: Hendrix, 10, Phoenix, 13, Xanthe, seven, Xascha, eight, and twins Xahlia and Margaux, four.
Madeleine and Shannon announced their separation in September 2018, after 13 years together.
She told Stellar at the time they were ‘striving to reconnect as friends and parents’, adding that having six children had put a strain on their relationship.
