Ada Nicodemou reveals bunions as she walks down Palm Beach in high heels

Ada Nicodemou, 43, reveals bunions on her feet as she walks Palm Beach in heels – after A-listers such as Meghan Markle and Victoria Beckham suffered with the condition in the past

She’s the jaw-dropping Home and Away actress who rarely puts a foot out of line when it comes to fashion.

But it appears looking so good may have come at a price for Ada Nicodemou, 43 – as last month, she was seen sporting a painful bunion on her left foot as she trawled through Summer Bay in a pair of stiletto heels.

Like many women – including A-listers such as Meghan Markle and Victoria Beckham – the actress’ foot appeared swollen on the side, perhaps from years of wearing tight-fitting shoes on her feet.

Ouch! It appears looking so good may have come at a price for Ada Nicodemou, 43 – as last month, she was seen sporting a painful bunion on her left foot as she trawled through Summer Bay in a pair of stiletto heels

Ada appeared uncomfortable as she balanced her weight on the slinky beige shoes while walking on the wobbly terrain, leaning on her co-star James Stewart for support.

The ill-fitting stilettos not only looked uncomfortable, but on closer inspection highlighted her painful affliction.

Ada is not the only celebrity to fall victim to the condition, with Amal Clooney, Sarah Jessica Parker and Victoria Beckham also suffering from bunions in the past.

A bunion is a swelling on the side of the joint where the big toe meets the foot. It commonly develops as a result of wearing ill-fitting shoes or those which cramp the feet.

High heels, which push the weight of the body on to the front of the foot, or extreme points that squeeze the toes together are major offenders.

The shoe rubs against the joint, thickening skin and tissues which gradually swell up into a bunion. Women tend to develop bunions more often than men because of the shoes they wear, and because their ligaments are softer.

Speculation: In 2018, it was rumoured that Meghan Markle may have even undergone surgery to remove her bunion - which appeared very much present in 2010 (pictured)

Surgery? Meghan, pictured in 2019, appeared to have had the painful affliction removed.  Podiatrist Robert Duff told Femail that 'on the inside of her left foot, there is a potential scar which may be from a bunion removal but it’s difficult to say without a closer look'

In 2018, it was rumoured that Meghan Markle may have even undergone surgery to remove her bunion, as she was spotted with a possible scar on her left foot from what could have been a previous surgery.

Podiatrist Robert Duff told Femail: ‘On the inside of her left foot, there is a potential scar which may be from a bunion removal but it’s difficult to say for sure without a closer look.’

Also in 2015, Australian songstress Jessica Muaboy was seen out and about with painful bunions on her feet to promote her fragrance at a Priceline store in Sydney.

Jessica looked to be uncomfortably balancing in the towering strappy black heels which appeared to be cutting into her feet, as well as being a size too big for the singer.

The hard to miss bumps looked to be affecting her pinkie and big toes the worse, as the sight no doubt gave comfort to the millions of women worldwide who also suffer from the curse of bunions.

Toe-tally painful: Just like many other women, Jessica Mauboy appears to suffer from bunions as she stepped out in 2015 for a perfume signing
