Adele and Harry Styles lead the British nominees at the Grammys

Adele and Harry Styles are leading the British nominees at the upcoming 65th Annual Grammy Awards.

Hitmaker Adele received an impressive seven nominations for the awards while Harry was honoured with five nominations.

Other British stars who received nominations included Ozzy Osbourne, Sam Smith, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Florence & The Machine, Arctic Monkeys and the DJ Bonobo.

Adele’s nominations were Pop Solo Performance for her single Easy On Me, Pop Vocal Album for 30, Song of the Year for Easy On Me and Record of the Year for Easy On Me and Album of the Year for 30.

The singer also received a nomination for Best Music Film for Adele One Night Only, which recorded a performance she gave at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles while promoting her latest studio album 30.

Harry was nominated for Pop Solo Performance for As It Was, Pop Vocal Album for Harry’s House, Music Video for As It Was and both Record of the Year for As It Was and Album of the Year for Harry’s House.

Meanwhile, Coldplay received two nominations for their album Music of the Spheres which is up for Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year.

Ozzy Osbourne is up for three awards at the ceremony, including Best Rock Album and Best Rock Performance for Patient Number 9 and Best Metal Performance for Degradation Rules.

Both Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran were nominated in the Best Pop Duo Category, Sam for Unholy with Kim Petras and Ed for Bam Bam with Camilla Cabello. 

Florence & The Machine are up for Alternative Music Performance for King along with Arctic Monkeys who are nominated for There’d Better Be a Mirrorball in the same category.

Rounding out the British nominees is Bonobo who is nominated for Dance/Electronic Album for Fragments.

The Recording Academy announced its nominees ahead of the 65th Grammy Awards on Tuesday in Los Angeles

The Grammy Awards will be handed out February 5, 2022 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
