Aldi Australia drops budget range of In The Roundhouse dinnerware dupes – and shoppers are obsessed

Australian shoppers are rushing to Aldi to get their hands on a range of homewares that looks like a designer brand. 

The retailer released a line of dinnerware customers are saying bears a striking resemblance to tableware from favourite Australian brand In The Roundhouse. 

Home stylists are loving the colourful seafood-themed plates that only cost $6.99 for a set of two while one In The Roundhouse plate will set you back $29. 

Customers are ‘obsessed’ with the range of vibrant dinnerwear adorned with playful patterns and illustrations of fish, lobsters, octopus, prawns and crabs.

There are also matching tea towels for $7.99 for a set of two.

‘Run to Aldi this week for these In The Roundhouse dupes. There are dinner plates, side plates and bowls which are only $7 for a pair,’ TikToker Mark said in a video.

‘There’s also a beautiful navy and white design with slightly different illustrations, I’m obsessed.’

‘Omg, need them,’ one woman said and another wrote: ‘When I say I RAN to Aldi’.

‘These are so cute!’ a fourth said.

‘Have been to four Aldi’s today and they aren’t stocked yet,’ one user complained. 

‘Aldi Werribee has some in stock! I went today at lunchtime,’ a second said. 

‘Saw this and ran straight to Aldi. Had to go to two but have replaced all my crockery,’ commented another. 

‘I’m so excited to use mine!! They are amazing,’ someone added.
