Aldi Australia set to bring back its electric salt and pepper grinders

‘Prepare for chaos!’: Aldi to bring back its popular $10 salt and pepper grinders that’s so good it’s been compared to products worth $140

  • Aldi has announced its popular electric salt and pepper grinders are back
  • The $9.99 item flew off the shelves after it was released by Aldi last year
  • The item has been compared to a more expensive version, that’s priced at $139

Shoppers are in a frenzy after discovering Aldi Australia’s $9.99 electric salt and pepper grinders will be returning to stores this week.

The homeware item will be featured as part of Aldi’s Special Buys range, which goes on sale from July 10.

The kitchen gadgets – which have been compared to designer versions priced at $139 – were an instant hit when they went on sale last year, with stock selling out within days.

‘Community Service Announcement. Those salt and pepper grinders are back Wednesday, July 10. Prepare for chaos!’

The post has attracted more than 1000 ‘likes’ and followers have tagged friends they thought would be as delighted to know about the devices returning.

‘Yaaay. I stupidly only bought one last time. Been kicking myself ever since,’ one person said.

Another said: ‘Just love my set bought them about two years ago. Still going really well.’

And one said: ‘These sold out last time very quickly so you’re best getting in early on the day.’
