  • The recall applies to any packet with a best before date of January 1 2023

A popular brand of potato chips sold at Aldi has been recalled over fears they may contain ‘plastic pieces’.

Aldi’s Sprinters Crinkle Cut Multi Pack Chips with a best before date of January 1 2023 are the product recalled by the NSW Food Authority.  

‘Food products containing plastic pieces may cause injury if consumed.’ it said in a statement.

Customers who have bought the product are urged to not eat them and return them to Aldi for a full refund.
