Heard carried a mask as she was seen with a pal, who wore a face mask on the fall day in Southern California.

The Aquaman star, who played Mera in the 2018 blockbuster, has stayed active amid the coronavirus shutdown with regular hiking outings in Southern California.

Heard has been at the center of controversy this month amid a Change.org petition with more than 1.4 million signatures to have her removed from the DC franchise amid the ongoing fallout of her acrimonious split with ex-husband Johnny Depp.

Heard, who’s been sued by Depp in a $50 million defamation suit, told EW last week that she was still involved in the project and was ‘so excited to film that’ with a tentative production time frame beginning next year.

She added: ‘I’m super excited about the amount of fan love and the amount of fan appreciation that Aquaman has acquired and that it has garnered so much excitement for Aquaman and Mera that it means we’ll be coming back.’

She brushed aside rumors she could be replaced amid the fallout of her ongoing legal battle Depp.

‘Paid rumors and paid campaigns on social media don’t dictate [casting decisions] because they have no basis in reality,’ she told the outlet. ‘Only the fans actually made Aquaman and Aquaman 2 happen. I’m excited to get started next year.’
