Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette ‘offered to Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Juventus’

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette ‘offered to Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Juventus by his representatives’ with Frenchman ‘keen for a new experience overseas’

  • Alexandre Lacazette enters the final year of his Arsenal contract this summer
  • He has endured limited game time under Gunners boss Mikel Arteta this term
  • The Frenchman has scored nine goals in 23 matches in the league this season

European giants Barcelona, Juventus and Atletico Madrid have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Alexandre Lacazette.

Lacazette – who will enter the final year of his Arsenal contract this summer – has been in and out of the first team this season under Mikel Arteta, scoring nine goals in 23 matches in the Premier League.

And according to Calciomercato.com, Lacazette is ready to leave England and wants to experience a new chapter overseas after failing to properly establish himself at the Emirates.

Alexandre Lacazette’s Arsenal future is far from certain with his deal expiring in June 2022

Lacazette’s representatives have already put the wheels, and have reportedly offered the striker to Barcelona, Atletico and Juventus – who are all on the lookout for a new frontman.

Lacazette wants to be a central figure at an ambitious club, and if he doesn’t nail down his starting spot come the end of the season at the Emirates, he could soon walk out the exit door.

Serie A giants Juventus are keen on the 29-year-old but will bide their time before making a final decision over whether to pursue him.

It is not yet clear what the Spanish giants’ stance is over Lacazette.

Lacazette joined Arsenal in a £53million move from Lyon in the summer of 2017, with high hopes on his shoulders to provide that clinical edge in front of goal.

But he has struggled to live up to expectations in north London, with the Gunners failing to keep up the pace with both England and Europe’s elite.

In 158 matches for the club, Lacazette has scored 59 goals and provided 28 assists, while winning the FA Cup last season.
