Unmissable: Australian Ninja Warrior hosts Rebecca Maddern, 43 (pictured), and Ben Fordham, 44, have revealed the BIG changes that are coming for the show in season five, including 25 brand new obstacles never before seen in Australia
‘We’ve got fast passes through from the Heats straight into the Grand Finals,’ Rebecca explained in an interview with Nine.
‘(It) will test people,’ added co-host and 2GB host Ben.
‘It becomes a very entertaining watch… with a multi-million-dollar budget, underwater obstacles and a huge tower.’
The two hosts also touched on the changes to one of the main tests on the show – Mt Midoriyama.
‘It’s so difficult,’ Rebecca said. ‘It’s not a straight climb (anymore). So all the Ninjas who have been practising climbing up a rope, they’ve got another thing coming.’
The iconic Pop Tower test has been altered as well. Now two competitors will compete simultaneously.
Changes: Alterations have also been made to both The Pop Tower and Mt Midoriyama
None of the challengers will know about these changes until they arrive to the course.
