Bachelor In Paradise star Alex McKay announces he’s expecting his first child with girlfriend

Former Bachelorette star and Bachelor in Paradise alum Alex McKay has announced he’s about to become a father. 

The tattooed hunk revealed he’s expecting his first child with his girlfriend, who goes by the name of Mich on Instagram.

Alex shared a picture of them both holding up their pet dog and a sonogram image of their unborn child, with Alex gushing: ‘Love you both so much.’

‘Moosies poo isn’t the only poo I’ll be picking up in November!’ he wrote, referring to their pet dog. 

‘Already so proud of Mich, love you both so much,’ he added. 

In November, Alex revealed his relationship with Mich and shared a series of loved up photos of the pair together on Instagram. 

‘Waited patiently for a long time for you and for this feeling! Very grateful! @mich_nich,’ he captioned one post at the time.

Alex appeared on Angie Kent’s season of The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, where he briefly dated Keira Maguire. 

During their time on Bachelor in Paradise, Keira decided to quit the show – forcing love interest Alex to do the same. 

She was upset when she learned that no more contestants would be arriving in Fiji.

And while Alex had given her his rose the night before, he’d also made it clear he was not romantically interested in the bubbly blonde.

‘Obviously we’ve talked a few times and there’s nothing there, so what’s the point of sticking around?’ she told him at the time. ‘I gotta go for someone who can handle me.’ 

‘That’s it. Fair enough. If you want to go home, I’m more than happy to go home as well,’ Alex said.

‘It was just good to have someone, like, show interest in me from, like, day one. Like, it was sick.

‘I really did enjoy spending time with ya and obviously it just couldn’t build into anything further than that,’ he added.
