Bella Hadid goes for a retro look in bold colourful knit while sister Gigi delivers sweet treats

 They are used to treading the red carpet or runway in scanty looks. 

Yet the Hadid sisters – Bella and Gigi – were braced for the cold on Tuesday evening as they stepped out in warm ensembles following a friend’s birthday in NYC. 

The younger supermodel, 23, looked straight out of the Eighties in a bold knitted jumper with black trousers and Dr. Martens, while her older sister, 24, donned an oversized blazer with jeans and red boots. 

Bella looked stunning in her low-key look yet made sure she turned heads with the brightly coloured knit which showed off her edgy style credentials. 

She paired the look with wide-leg trousers with a turned-up ankle while toughening up the look with a pair of tough boots.  

The stunner scraped her hair back into a severe bun while donning a pair of small pair of sunglasses despite the night time hour. 

Gigi meanwhile appeared to be on delivery duty as she attended with a huge bag from bakery company Cinnabon.

She donned an equally retro look with an over-sized blazer and baggy jeans while adding a pop of colour with the pointed red boots.  

The daughters of Yolanda Hadid and Mohamed Hadid, Bella and Gigi have enjoyed a thriving modeling career. From Vogue to Elle, the glamorous duo have graced the covers of some of the world’s biggest magazines. 

Last year, Gigi hit back at claims that her modelling success is the result of her privileged background – as she insisted that just is not the case. 

She told Harper’s Bazaar: ‘People say that I don’t deserve to be where I am because I come from this successful family, but my parents were f***ing hardworking…   

‘My dad was a refugee. My mum was on a farm, went to New York, and worked to send money back to her family. They worked their a***s off, and they’ve given me a life because of their hard work, and I work hard to honour that… 

‘I shouldn’t stay in my house because people say, ‘You don’t deserve to be here because they were successful’. That’s not how I consider it in my house.’
