Bella Hadid says she ‘is the most proud sister in the world’ in birthday post to brother Anwar

Bella Hadid took a trip down memory lane on Monday when she posted a tribute on Instagram to her ‘baby brother’ Anwar Hadid to celebrate his 21st birthday.

‘Happy birthday to our leader and protector @anwarhadid [HEART EMOJI] if I wasn’t already the most proud sister in the world, I become more and more proud of you everyday,’ began the 23-year-old supermodel in her post’s caption. 

Along with her touching text, Bella also shared a slew of pictures she had taken of and with Anwar over the years.    

She continued: ‘You are the most kind, gentle , smart , creative , curious, and enlightened boy that I know.’

Bella remarked on how ‘thankful’ she is ‘to learn something new from [him] everyday’ and how lucky she has been ‘to be able to watch [him] grow.’

‘With your passion, empathy, and love for people, I know you are going to change the world, on the right side of history.’

To honor Anwar and his ‘love for people,’ Bella revealed that she would be ‘donating to Doctors Without Borders specifically aiding the humanitarian crisis in Yemen.’

‘I know that is probably the only thing you want for your birthday [HEART EMOJI] Mashallah Anwarcito I love you so much,’ concluded the runway maven.

Anwar went straight to the comment section to thank his big sister for her kind words.

‘I LOVE YOU SO MUCH SISTER,’ he wrote, before noting that he and Bella are ‘twins [for life].’

One photo posted by Bella showed Anwar, sister Gigi, 25, mother Yolanda, and herself posing happily alongside one another.

Another photo taken from childhood showed Bella and Anwar sleeping peacefully next to one another.

Bella also included a photo of Anwar planting a tender kiss on Yolanda’s forehead. 

As a bonus, Bella took to her Instagram Story to share a throwback photo of herself, Anwar, and Gigi taken during a wedding.

In the sweet snapshot, Bella and Gigi donned matching white dress and flower crowns, while Anwar sported a black suit.

Bella, Anwar, and Gigi are the children of real estate developer Mohamed Hadid, 71, and Dutch model Yolanda Hadid, 56.
