Ben & Jerry’s to give FREE ICE CREAM cones to people across Australia – but you’ll have to be quick!

Ice cream lovers will be able to get their hands on a free scoop, or two or three, on Tuesday, as Ben & Jerry’s annual free cone day celebrations return to Australia.

The beloved ice cream parlour expect to give away over 400,000 free scoops of ice cream across the country today, and over one million scoops around the world.    

From noon to 8pm on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, Ben & Jerry’s will celebrate the festivities by giving people free ice cream cones.

According to Ben & Jerry’s website, ‘Every time you enjoy a scoop of Ben & Jerry’s, you’re showing us how much you care. 

‘We love you too, & Free Cone Day is our favorite way to show it!’.

So where do you need to head in order to pick up your free scoop?

In New South Wales, Ben & Jerry’s Manly, HOYTS Broadway, HOYTS Penrith, HOYTS Blacktown, Ben & Jerry’s Chatswood and Ben & Jerry’s Bondi will be offering ice cream.

 

If you’re based in Victoria, head to Ben & Jerry’s Flinders Lane, HOYTS Eastland, HOYTS Chadstone or HOYTS Greensborough to get a free sweet treat. 

Queenslanders have many options, including Ben & Jerry’s Gold Coast, Ben & Jerry’s Mooloolaba, Ben & Jerry’s Pacific Fair, Ben & Jerry’s Surfers Paradise, Ben & Jerry’s Noosa and HOYTS Sunnybank. 

Those in Western Australia have Ben & Jerry’s Northbridge, Ben & Jerry’s Hillarys, Ben & Jerry’s Joondalup and Ben & Jerry’s Fremantle to try.

Meanwhile, those in the ACT have HOYTS Woden and HOYTS Belconnen and in South Australia, there is HOYTS Norwood. 

People on social media have been quick to express how excited they are about the free ice cream.

‘Best day of the year,’ one person wrote on Instagram.

‘It’s going to be packed,’ another said.

The celebration is all part of what Ben & Jerrys’ call ‘their global celebration of community support, fan awesomeness and funky chunks and swirls’.
