‘That’s abuse’: Big Brother housemates are left DISGUSTED by a bizarre bedroom incident on the first night

The Big Brother housemates had a sleepless first night on Monday.

Ex-footy player Daniel Gorringe, 27, kept his co-stars awake until the sun came up with his incessant snoring, making himself very unpopular among the group.

‘I’m gonna slap him!’ yelled one housemate in the early hours, before Allan Liang walked over to Daniel and dropped a pillow on his head.

Allan, Kieran Davidson, Xavier Molyneux and Talia Rycroft all attempted to stop Daniel’s snoring without success.

‘Oh my god, I’ve never heard snoring like that. I mean, that’s not even real. That’s absolute abuse. It’s just like a train going through a zoo,’ said Allan.

Ian Joass, whose bed is next to Daniel’s, lay awake staring at the ceiling for hours. He was too polite to attempt to wake his co-star.

Speaking to Big Brother the next morning, Ian said: ‘It sounded a bit like a cross between somebody sawing wood and a deer in heat. There was a real nasal element to it, too.’

As the contestants gathered in the living room, Talia told Daniel: ‘Thank you for keeping me awake all night.’

The former sportsman was oblivious to what had happened, having failed to wake up despite his housemates’ attempts to stop him snoring.

‘I had a great sleep, but I think it was well raised that we have a snorer in the house. It has everything to do with my massive nose…’ he told Big Brother.

The group’s second night won’t be any more peaceful. A trailer for Tuesday’s episode showed several new housemates arriving in the dark, giving the contestants the fright of their lives.

Big Brother continues Tuesday at 7:30pm on Channel Seven
