‘I am fit and young and I didn’t think it would affect me so much. Luckily I wasn’t on a ventilator but my breathing is terrible, come night time and you hold your breath it does panic you.

‘There still seems to be some conspiracy it doesn’t exist. I can assure you absolutely it does. Anyone going through it, I am sending my thoughts to you because it is an absolute nightmare virus.’

Addressing the accusations, Bobby made light of the ridiculous claims, saying: ‘I mean it’s the madness that is social media.

‘Everyone knows I love social media, and 99 per cent of the time it’s a great tool, but I was getting trolled on Christmas Day in bed, saying Boris [Johnson] payed me 5 grand to pretend to have Covid.

‘Boris did not slide into my dms and say “Hey Bobby you want 5 grand?” If he had, he must have got the wrong sort code because there’s no money in my account!’ joked the TV personality.

Bobby explained that he wanted to help vaccinate people after what he went through with the virus, and revealed that administering injections is ‘nothing new to him’ because he used to give injections to his mum during her leukemia battle.

He said: ‘I thought: What can I do to help? I wanted to volunteer in some way. I’ve got a lot more free time on my hands because of what’s going on.

‘I’d been doing my mums injections, when she had leukaemia and got discharged. I was doing it for her so it wasn’t anything new to me.’

The TOWIE star touched on being trained up as a volunteer vaccinator and described being able to help people as a ‘privilege.’

Bobby said: ‘There are those in top tiers who hadn’t seen someone since march last year, so to see someone fact to face and know there is light at the end of the tunnel is a privilege to help them do that.

‘I think [training was] 22 hours online, you’ve got to know the legal side of everything, the safeguarding. It’s something I wanted to do, I wanted to help people. Any day I’m hoping I can get my ID card and get out there and do my bit.’

The Loose Women panellist joked that people might find it weird that Bobby Norris from TOWIE is doing their vaccinations.

But he insisted: ‘I think regardless what I do for a career, people just want their vaccines and to see a human being… I’ve got to have my PPE on so they can’t tell but if I open my mouth then maybe they will notice.’
