Speaking earlier this month, Tindall said it would be ‘foolish’ to not consider bringing Wilshere on board if he proves his fitness.

‘Jack’s still training with us, he’s training well, he’s looking sharp and it’s really good to have him,’ Tindall told talkSPORT.

‘It’s a situation we’ll keep monitoring in the next week or two and we’ll see where Jack’s at, and what we feel as a club in terms of what would be the best thing moving forward.

‘Whenever you’ve got a player of Jack’s quality training with you and you’re able to have a closer look, it would be foolish to say there’s not a chance of wanting to do something.’

Wilshere has made just one appearance this season – in an EFL Cup tie for West Ham against Hull in September.

He  had previously talked up a move abroad, with the MLS and LaLiga particularly appealing to him.

But the 29-year-old has now reportedly signed for Bournemouth – a club he spent a season on loan during the 2016-17 campaign.
