A desperate search is underway to find an eight-year-old boy missing for more than 24 hours after he disappeared in a national park while camping with his family.
The boy vanished from Fernhook Falls in North Walpole, on Western Australia‘s south coast, and police were called about 9am on Sunday.
Police officers, helicopters, and divers, State Emergency Services volunteers, and family members scoured Mt Frankland National Park on Sunday but suspended the search at 7.30pm due to poor light.

The search resumed at 6am on Monday, with emergency teams using similar resources to try and locate the child.
There are fears the boy may have fallen into one of the fast-flowing rivers or creeks running through the dense bushland.
Fernhook Falls, located by the Deep River, is a popular spot for swimmers, picnickers, canoers, kayakers, and bushwalkers.
The campground can accommodate 10 groups at a time, including eight tent sites and two camp huts.
