Boyfriend left covered in fake tan after spooning his girlfriend warns other men against cuddling – and Twitter goes wild for his advice

Most of us have had a fake tan disaster, but men can’t usually relate with us – apart from this one boyfriend, who loved to spoon his girlfriend at night.
Sam Phillips, 23, from Southampton, woke up with what he thought was a bruise on his leg after cuddling up to his girlfriend one night.
But quickly realised that it wasn’t a bruise and in fact fake tan from his girlfriend, who had applied a coat of it just before bed.
The builder shared two pictures on his Twitter page of his fake tan disaster, commenting: ‘Woke up thinking I had a big bruise on my leg, turns out you can’t spoon your mrs after she’s faked tanned’.
Twitter thought it was hilarious, sharing the tweet over 6,000 times and commenting on how they related to it.

While many other Twitter followers found the fake tan fail hilarious and lots more said they could relate.

The post was liked over 80,000 times, with many leaving the laughing emoji and others saying: ‘I’m dying ha ha’.
