Bringing Up Bates star Tori and husband Bobby welcome second child, son Kolter Gray

Baby number two for Bringing Up Bates star Tori and husband Bobby has arrived.

The couple announced the birth of Kolter Gray on Thursday, sharing the infant had been born on Wednesday afternoon and weighed in at 6lbs 6oz.  

‘In the midst of uncertain times we are praising God for a safe delivery and a perfectly healthy baby boy,’ they wrote on their Instagram alongside a couple of cute photos.

Tori found fame on the UPtv reality series documenting the life of conservative Christians Gil and Kelly Jo Bates and their 19 children.

She married Bobby Smith in December 2017 after a year of courting. Their first child, a son Kade, was born in November 2018. 

In their Instagram post Thursday, the devout couple shared: ‘It amazes us how such a tiny life can create such an enormous new love in our hearts.’

‘Kade is sooo ready to take care of his little brother – all he keeps saying is “baby” and “yay!” blowing him all the kisses he can through FaceTime,’ they added. ‘We cannot even imagine how much our hearts will swell when our little family is all back together again at home!’

Tori and Bobby had announced they were expecting another baby last October and had already picked out a name for the boy.

The expectant mom took part in a special photo shoot with her husband and son Kade showing off her baby bump in a lovely full-length turquoise dress. 

In one sweet image taken by photographer Taryn Yager, Tori cradled her belly while sharing a kiss with Bobby, who is holding their firstborn with one arm while placing the other arm around his wife.
