Carrie Johnson today shared a heartwarming tribute to her son Wilfred on his third birthday.
The ex-prime minister’s wife, 35, posted a series of photographs of her eldest child, from running on a sandy beach, to a never-before-seen family picture on board a yacht.
She later gave a glimpse of what the three-year-old got up to on his birthday, posting pictures to her Instagram story of Wilfred feeding animals at a farm.
In the caption of her post, Ms Johnson wrote: ‘Happy third birthday darling Wilfy. The kindest, most loving boy.
‘Always cheery, you make things so much fun. We are so lucky.’

Wilfred is Ms Johnson’s eldest child with Boris – the pair also share daughter Romy, one.
This month has been a busy one for the Johnson family, who were recently enjoying a family holiday in South Carolina.
The mother-of-two posted a number of photographs of the trip to her 64,800 Instagram follower, including images of the family on the beach.
She also posted a number of snaps of her three-year-old son and one-year-old daughter as they enjoyed the wildlife on Kiawah Island in the south-eastern US.

While Wilfred has inherited his father Boris’s impressive blond locks, Romy appears to have taken after her mother, with a mop of dirty blonde curls.
The family are believed to have been on holiday for the past week or so, with Carrie having already shared a number of snaps from South Carolina in the past few days.
Boris was scheduled to speak at a low-key corporate conference in Kiawah Island Golf Resort at the time, so it is possible the family joined him for an extended break.
Snaps showed Wilfred waving at a fire engine, while another photo featured Carrie enjoying a stroll down the beach with her daughter Romy.

The mother-of-two posted the photos of her two-year-old son and one-year-old daughter as they enjoyed the wildlife in Kiawah Island and the city of Charleston
Wilfred was also snapped tucking into an ice cream covered with sprinkles, and toddling along wearing a cardigan emblazoned with his name across the back.
Earlier in April, Carrie shared another load of images from the trip, including a mirror selfie that showed her posing in a floaty, white, tiered, button-down dress by Carole Bamford.
Tagging the designer, she captioned the post: ‘The perfect, throw-on holiday dress.’
Embracing her natural curls, Carrie finished off her look with a simple gold pendant necklace and burgundy sliders.
Wilfred was seen happily running past his mother in the image.
