Charlize Theron has joined the cast of The School for Good and Evil.
The 45-year-old actress and fellow star Kerry Washington have both boarded the Paul Feig-helmed Netflix movie, which is based on Soman Chainani’s best-selling novel of the same name.
‘Let’s go Kerry! Excited for this one,’ the blonde beauty said on Instagram on Friday.

‘I know what school I’m applying to! So thrilled to welcome Charlize Theron and Kerry Washington to the School for Good and Evil! Everyone, prepare to get schooled!’ Paul announced in a Twitter post.
Charlize and Kerry will play Lady Lesso and Professor Dovey respectively, and join previously announced cast members Sofia Wylie and Sophia Anne Caruso.
The School for Good and Evil will follow best friends Sophie (Caruso) and Agatha (Wylie), who are set to enroll in schools which have previously educated famous fairytale characters.
Sophie plans to enroll in the School of Good to join alums such as Cinderella and Snow White, while Agatha knows she’s fit for the Evil School.

However, the two friends find their fortunes reversed, and they are each forced to discover who they really are.
The book is the first in a six-part saga released by Chainani, and was an instant New York Times bestseller when it was published in 2013.
The series has sold over 2.5 million copies and has been translated into 30 languages, with the final book in the series – named ‘The School of Good and Evil: One True King’ – was released by HarperCollins last summer.

Joe Roth, Jeffrey Kirschenbaum, Jane Startz and Feigco’s Feig and Laura Fischer will produce the upcoming movie, and the executive producers are Zack Roth, Patricia Riggen and Chainani.
According to TheWrap, The School for Good and Evil is set to debut on Netflix in 2022.
Theron has done a great job at balancing her career with being a mother.
Last year Theron praised her daughters as ‘beautiful powerhouses.’
The actress is mother to two adopted children, eight-year-old Jackson and five-year-old August, and has heaped praise on the youngsters in celebration of National Daughters Day in September.

She wrote alongside a snap of the family: ‘My heart belongs to these two beautiful powerhouses. I will never be the same. Happy #NationalDaughtersDay.’
Meanwhile, the Old Guard actress recently talked about having honest conversations with her daughters about racial injustice amid the Black Lives Matter movement, as she praised them for ‘becoming little warriors in their own right.’
She explained: ‘Yeah, I think it’s important. The day I became a parent I vowed I would always tell them the truth in a way they can handle. It’s too important a moment to not be completely transparent … They have been very active in protesting … They’ve grown from this and have become little warriors in their own right.’
And in a separate interview, she shared: ‘As a parent, it’s been a difficult time. I think all parents, we want to believe we have time. And the world has kind of shaken me in a way that I realize that I don’t have time.

Charlize also previously said she wants her daughters to ‘see themselves’ represented in both cinema and ‘in life.’
She added: ‘I’m a mom to two small Black girls, and I want them to grow up in a world where they see themselves, where there is an awareness that they can be whomever they want to be because they see it. And that’s not just in cinema, that’s in life, too. I want to surround them in a world where they feel they belong and they can shine and they can live to their full potential.’
