Yet, David Beckham’s Instagram feed took a different direction today as he paid tribute to his beloved dogs while celebrating International Dog Day on Wednesday.
The 45-year-old first posted an adorable photo of him wincing as his youngest pooch Sage attempted to give him a sloppy kiss on the lips from their Cotswold bolthole.

Clad in his signature tweed baker boy cap, the former footballer closed his eyes and scrunched up his face as his canine companion rested her front two legs on his shoulders while she leaned in for a smooch.
Captioning the sweet snap, David penned: ‘Happy International dog day Sage trying her luck with a kiss on the lips’.
However that wasn’t the only snap the sports star posted as he took to his Instagram Stories to share a slew of photos of their three Cocker Spaniels; Fig, Sage and Olive.
Celebrating the cute canines in his life, he first shared a photo of all three of them posing for the camera before posting a single shot of Fig giving his best ‘blue steel’ and using the gif ‘I love dogs’ across two snaps.

Their posts come a day after David looked effortlessly suave as he posed in sunglasses to take his luxury sports car for a spin.
