Dog v tree: Determined German Shepherd Jessie loudly bounces up and down as she tries to break off branch

This is the moment a determined dog bounced up and down while whining as she tried to bag herself a stick that was still attached to a tree.
Three-year-old Jessie the German Shepherd wouldn’t take no for an answer as she wrestled with a low-hanging branch in Altai Republic, southern Russia.
Her owner, Ekaterina Kudritskaya, 21, posted the video on Tik Tok on December 4 and already the clip of the hilarious battle has amassed 19.5 million views.
More than 63,000 people have commented on the video, with many praising Jessie’s perseverance.

One social media user commented: ‘Legend has it [s]he is still in the forest’.
Another user said they had watched the clip on loop ‘for no less than 15’ minutes.
With every bounce Jessie shook the small tree and came a little closer to tearing the branch off.
However, the poor pooch never manages to retrieve the prized stick.
She whimpers as the branch comes agonisingly close to breaking off while her owner films her.
As another Tik Tok user wrote online, Jessie ‘played the best game of tug of war in [her] little furry life’.
It’s not the first time a dog has come up against a stick that just won’t budge.
Alice the Jackapoo took playing ‘Fetch’ to a whole new level when the tiny pooch leaped into the air to steal the stick arm from a snowman.

The footage was captured by her owner Charlotte Beard, 22, as Alice was being taken for a walk in Milton Keynes by Ms Beard and her partner Sam Grogan, 28.
The two decided to make a snowman, but had to fend off Alice as she tried to grab the stick from their hands.
The determined six-year-old dog would not give up and once the snowman was complete she kept jumping up to try to pull the stick free.
However, Ms Beard and Mr Grogan, who is a mechanic, had made sure the stick was lodged deep into the ice structure.
