Donald Trump is set to attend Game 4 of the World Series in Atlanta: Former President requested tickets from MLB for Braves-Astros showdown in battleground state of Georgia

Former president Donald Trump will be in attendance for Game 4 of the World Series in Atlanta on Saturday when the Braves host the American League champion Houston Astros. 

Major League Baseball has not announced Trump’s plans, but Atlanta CEO Terry McGuirk told USA Today that the 45th President would be at the game and a source has since confirmed that news to DailyMail.com.

‘He called MLB and wanted to come to the game,’ McGuirk said. ‘We were very surprised. Of course, we said yes.’

Trump will not be sitting with any league officials or team personnel, the source confirmed.

‘We are going to give him his own suite,’ McGuirk told USA Today.

McGuirk said he’s unconcerned with the reaction of Trump detractors.

‘We are apolitical,’ McGuirk said. ‘We’re open to anyone coming. It’s great that he wants to come to our game.’

The series is currently tied at a game apiece. 

Trump famously lost Georgia by less than three tenths of a percentage point to president Joe Biden in the 2020 election. He beat Hillary Clinton in Georgia by more than 5 percent in 2016.
