Ellie Goulding looked ready to party on Tuesday, as she prepared for a triple-celebration.
The songstress took to Instagram to post a snap of herself standing in a green velvet mini-dress ahead of her New Year’s Eve celebrations – which follow her 33rd birthday and gaining the final number one single of the decade.
The leggy number featured a plunging front and she added silver stillettos with a sparkly trim to the ensemble as she stood before a bright yellow backdrop.

Ellie wore her golden locks in light waves around her features, which were accentuated with a light wash of natural make-up and smokey eye-shadow.
Ellie is ringing in 2020 in the States – seen touching down at Miami International Airport on Saturday with her husband Caspar Jopling.
It appeared that Ellie and Caspar were heading to Florida to celebrate their first New Year as a married couple, after they tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in York in August.
Ellie’s trip comes after she landed the last number one song of 2019 with her track River, despite the song only being available to stream on Amazon.

The video for the cover of the 1971 Joni Mitchell track was made to highlight the issue of plastic pollution and has already racked up over a million views.
Reacting to the news she said: ‘I’m so over the moon that I got the chance to sing such a beautiful song so close to my heart by one of the best songwriters of all time.
‘It’s been a rollercoaster of a year but can’t think of a better birthday present than being the last Number 1 of the decade.’

The charity also took to its social media channels after Ellie’s visit, to thank the singer for volunteering at the centre on Sunday as well.
Sharing a video of Ellie getting stuck in, they tweeted: ‘It was wonderful to have @elliegoulding at our North London residential centre yesterday – serving tea, chatting to guests and generally mucking in.’
They sweetly added: ‘An early Christmas present for our guests and volunteers!’

In the video, a fellow volunteer describes Ellie’s visit to the centre as they sweetly reveal that she ‘fitted in well’ with the rest of the team.
They say: ‘We were just doing our regular jobs serving tea and coffee when, suddenly, Ellie Goulding came out of the blue. We were just so shocked, like, I really didn’t know how to react.
‘I mean, she was really, really nice and friendly. She offered to help make tea and coffee for everybody else. She just wanted to help out generally and get involved. She fitted in quite well with the rest of the teal really quickly!’
Ellie and her husband Caspar tied the knot in York at the end of August in a lavish ceremony that was attended by the likes of Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, Sienna Miller, James Blunt and the singer’s close pal Princess Beatrice and her sister Eugenie.
