Elsa Pataky shows off her trim pins in tiny shorts on family outing with children in Sydney

Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky have been one of Australia’s resident Hollywood power couples since relocating Down Under permanently in 2014.

But to their three young children, they are simply ‘mum’ and ‘dad’.

On Sunday, Chris, 37 and stunning wife Elsa, 44, looked every inch the doting parents as they enjoyed a family day out in Sydney.

Chris and Elsa share three children: daughter India Rose, eight, and twin sons Sasha and Tristan, six. They live in a $30million mansion near Byron Bay.

Appearing to have a day off from filming Thor: Love and Thunder, Chris looked relaxed and in high spirits with his wife and children.

The Marvel actor dressed casually in a white T-shirt, Nike shorts and sneakers.

His ever-improving muscular frame and bulging biceps were almost bursting through the material.

Showing off his super-dad strength, Chris was seen carrying one of his twin sons atop his shoulders.

Proving that she is just as strong and fit, Spanish actress Elsa also barely broke a sweat carrying the little boy on her shoulders.

The famous mother-of-three showed off her toned physique in floral shorts and a black T-shirt.

Elsa, who hails from Madrid, is best known for her work in the Fast and Furious franchise and the Netflix show Tidelands.

She was also seen walking alongside her daughter, then carrying her in her arms.

The family are often spotted around Byron Bay going barefoot, and one of their sons appeared to take off his sneakers to be more comfortable on the walk.

Grinning with their parents, the children appeared to be treated to a new poo-themed board game and some Play-Doh.

Just last week, Chris gave fans a glimpse into his special bond with his three children.

The Australian actor, 37, shared an adorable creative writing task his six-year-old son Tristan did at school.

The proud father shared a picture to Instagram of his little boy’s writing task, which was graded with a ‘well done’ by his teacher.

It read: ‘My special friend is dad, together we go in the pool, together they make me feel happy.’

He told GQ Australia in 2018: ‘There’s times when I’ve thought, “Wow, because having kids is more important to me, some of my roles have suffered.”

‘There’s definitely a couple of films I could’ve put way more energy into but I was like, “No, I’d rather be with my kids.”‘

Chris and Elsa have spent the past few weeks flying back and forth between Sydney and Byron Bay for their separate filming commitments.

Production for Thor: Love and Thunder began for Chris in January at Sydney’s Fox Studios, while Elsa, 44, may have already wrapped her role in the big screen adaption of the opera Carmen.

In January, on a day off from shooting Carmen in the city, Elsa took her three children to Sydney’s Luna Park on Sydney Harbour as Chris prepared to film Thor.

In 2020, Chris admitted he moved his family to Australian in 2014 after feeling ‘suffocated’ by his career while living in Los Angeles.

‘Living in Australia, it’s easier to detach myself from work – and you get a bit more leeway to let a few emails and phone calls slide on by,’ he said.

Speaking to The Sunday Telegraph, the star said he grew tired of constantly being surrounded by billboards of himself and never switching off from his projects.

The father added: ‘There’s not a single person there (Byron Bay) that I interact with, or close friends of mine, that are really in the industry and that’s hugely refreshing.’

Similarly, speaking to OK! Magazine earlier that year, Chris said living in Hollywood meant ‘you just kind of lose touch with reality’.
