The US content creator, who has a whopping nine million followers on TikTok, was Down Under visiting his friend and judge of Australian Idol, Meghan Trainor.
The 25-year-old thought it would be a good time to get a ‘hot Australian boyfriend’ so he began going to the gym in the hope of meeting other singletons.
During one class, Chris noticed a good looking man was staring at him.
He excitedly thought he met the love of his life, but it turns out his nose was ferociously bleeding and the man was just concerned.

In a video that has clocked two million views, Chris explained the embarrassing moment to his followers.
‘So today I thought I found an Australian boyfriend but turns out I just had a bloody nose in public,’ he said.
‘There were multiple hot guys [in my workout class] and there’s one right next to me and while I’m working out I’m thinking “I’m gonna work up the courage and say something as soon as it’s over”.
‘So, the class ends and I go to the locker room, and ever since I’ve got to Australia my nose has been really runny, so my face at this point is wet and I am sniffly but I think “Whatever, I’m on a mission.”
‘When I leave the locker room he is by the front desk, where there is also a box of tissues and he is staring at me.
‘As I’m walking over his eyes are staring at me, which in hindsight he did look a little worried.
‘But my mind then was like “He wants it” and as I get closer he waves me over. Then he says “Here, I got you” and I was like “Omg are we about to kiss?!”
‘Like…here I got you? What does that mean? But as I get closer he grabs a tissue and he’s like “Tilt your head back”.
‘And that’s when I realised it wasn’t a normal runny nose, it was a bloody nose.”

‘As we’re doing this another man comes over and is like “Everything good?”,’ he explained.
‘And the original guy is like “Yeah, just a bloody nose” and then he goes “Babe are you ready? and then they leave together’.
After the ordeal, Chris said he was going back to his hotel room to lock himself in his room and forget about getting an Australian boyfriend.
