Leao’s sale could see Stefano Pioli’s side move for Giroud despite the fact the Chelsea striker recently signed a new one year deal at Stamford Bridge.

The 35-year-old scored 11 goals across all competitions for the Blues last season.

Milan who qualified for the Champions League for the first time in seven years are keen to bolster their striking options in light of Ibrahimovic’s injury.

The Rossoneri have also been linked with moves for Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca and Stuttgart’s Sasa Kalajdzic.
