In October Prince Harry and Meghan opened up about struggling with royal life and public scrutiny in an explosive ITV documentary
Speaking on The HeirPod Podcast, royal correspondent Omid Scobie revealed that the Sussexes ‘celebrated Thanksgiving privately with close family’ on a ‘long time trip to the US’.
Meghan is known to be very close to her mother Doria, who was the only member of her family to attend the royal wedding in May last year.
If the Sussexes joined her at her LA home for the holidays, it would mark the first time Meghan has taken her son back to her hometown.

In October Prince Harry and Meghan opened up about struggling with royal life and public scrutiny in the explosive ITV programme Meghan and Harry: An African Journey, in which Meghan revealed not many people have asked if she’s ‘okay’.
Meghan admitted to feeling vulnerable and spoke to Tom Bradby about the difficulty in coping with intense tabloid interest, saying: ‘It’s not enough to just survive something, that’s not the point of life. You have got to thrive.’
Harry, meanwhile, refused to deny a rift between himself and Prince William, acknowledging, ‘we are on different paths at the moment’.
