  • The 23-year-old’s move sees Milan having the option to buy him permanently

Fikayo Tomori‘s loan move to AC Milan looks increasingly like it could be made into a permanent one with the Italian giants reportedly keen to make that happen.

Tomori joined the club on loan until the end of the season from Chelsea on January 22 after featuring just four times for the Blues under Thomas Tuchel’s predecessor Frank Lampard.

Since making the switch to Italy, the 23-year-old has been revitalised – making 17 appearances in all competitions. As part of his loan, AC Milan have the option to buy him for £25million at the end of the season and that’s what they’d plan to do, according to Sky Sport Italia.

The publication report that the centre back met with technical area director Paolo Maldini and sporting director Frederic Massara on Wednesday evening to discuss his future.

Maldini and Massara are big fans of the England international and now need to convince the Milan board to take the option up of signing Tomori permanently as they deem the fee set by Chelsea as a high.
