Floyd Mayweather willing to fight Logan Paul after YouTuber says he would ‘whup him’

Floyd Mayweather willing to fight Logan Paul after YouTuber says he would ‘whup him’… as boxing legend declares he’d ‘put a muzzle on that b****’ just like he did to Conor McGregor during their bout in 2017

  • Logan Paul recently took to social media to claim he’d beat Floyd Mayweather
  • Mayweather responded saying he’d get the same treatment as Conor McGregor
  • UFC star McGregor was beaten in 10 rounds by Mayweather in August 2017

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather has warned Logan Paul he ‘can get the same treatment’ as Conor McGrgeor did after the YouTuber declared he would beat him in a fight.

Mayweather hasn’t fought professionally since August 2017 when he defeated UFC star Conor McGregor via TKO in the 10th round.

That took his record to an impressive 50-0 before he decided to hang up the gloves for good – although he has since had an exhibition bout on December 31, 2018 when he knocked out undefeated kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in Saitama, Japan.

Many have since tried to lure the now 43-year-old out of professional retirement – earlier this week he announced his exhibition comeback in Tokyo in February 2021 – but it appears Paul’s words have irked Mayweather who responded to the YouTuber’s claims he’d ‘whup him’ in a fight.

‘These YouTube girls better find some Barbie dolls to play with cause I’m not the one for the kid games,’ Mayweather tweeted.

‘Three years ago a fighter from the UFC said my name and I had to put a muzzle on that b****.

‘Logan Paul can get the same treatment before I go conquer Japan again.’

Mayweather’s words following Paul’s social media post where he said: ‘If I caught Floyd in a real fight? I’d whup him. MMA? I’d whup him. The only place Floyd is safe is the boxing ring.

‘I would fight Floyd any time, any place. If I caught Floyd with one punch, I would snap him in half.

‘I’m eight inches taller, 40lbs heavier, half his age, two times as hunger, 10 times as smart.’

And following Mayweather’s reply, the 25-year-old goaded him once more by insinuating he would beat him with a reply of ’50-1′.

While Paul may have youth on his side, his experience pales in insignificance to Mayweather’s.

While Mayweather is 50-0, Paul has only fought twice – with both occasions against fellow YouTuber KSI.

The first, in August 2018, was an amateur bout which ended in a draw. The rematch in November 2019 was a professional bout and ended in defeat by split decision for Paul.
