Nikki Webster wore some eye-popping colourful outfits during her reign as Australia’s most famous child pop star.

And the 33-year-old redhead took some inspiration from those days as she stepped out for Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac’s book launch on Thursday.

Nikki, best known for her hit song Strawberry Kisses, turned heads as she left the event in a pair of outrageous floral platform boots.

For her outfit, Nikki went for a more tame ensemble, showing off her slender legs in an off-the-shoulder black mini dress.

Last month, Nikki announced the release of her children’s book, Dare to Dream.

‘I’m so excited to announce that my brother Scott and I have just released a children’s book!’ she wrote.
