Georgia Love hits back at fans with rude gesture after she tries to ‘stay positive’ while booking honeymoon with fiancé Lee Elliott in lockdown

Melbourne‘s stage four lockdowns are sure to be tough on everyone in the city, and that certainly appears to be the case for Georgia Love. 

The former Bachelorette posted a stunning picture of a mountain view to her Instagram on Tuesday while sharing how she is getting through the tough time. 

‘How to get through day 1 of stage four lockdown? Book your honeymoon,’ wrote the 31-year-old who is engaged to fiancé Lee Elliott.

However, fans were quick to dampen her good vibes reminding her that lockdown may prevent her from enjoying a honeymoon for some time.

Georgia was quick to hit back at her followers telling them that their comments ‘don’t help.’ 

‘You know what doesn’t help? People replying “that’s if you’re allowed to have a wedding or travel by then!!”‘ Georgia wrote.

She added: ‘Trying my best to stay positive her guys! Would love if you just let me do that’ alongside an upside down smiley face and the middle finger emoji, often seen as a rude or insulting gesture. 

This comes after Georgia and Lee were forced to change their wedding plans. 

Last month the Channel 10 reporter revealed they were planning a dream wedding in Italy.

Georgia told the  Ben Rob & Robbo show that the couple have been forced to change the location of their wedding to Tasmania due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  

‘We were planning on a wedding for Italy next year so in 2021,’ she said.

‘But we’ve gone back on those plans, so we figured there’s just too many “what-ifs” in the world at the moment.’ 

At this stage, the wedding is still set to go ahead in 2021.
