NO one expected the latest iPhones to become the home of the most recent Resident Evil games, but here we are.
After releasing the Resident Evil Village port on the Apple App Store in early November, Capcom is gearing up for the release of Resident Evil 4: Remake in December.
The upcoming game will only be available to those who bought the new iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.
This is due to the A17 Pro chip that is available only on these phones. At the same time, for Apple consumers who do not have iPhones, the game will also be available on iPads and Macs with the M1 chip or later.
The game will also allow cross-progression between Apple products. For example, you can play the game on your iPad at home, and then later, when you are commuting to work, you can continue the game in the same save state you left it in.
Players can play a portion of the early game for free as a “trial” before purchasing it and unlocking the entire game.
Resident Evil 4: Remake (and the Separate Ways added content) will be released for the new iPhones on Dec 20.
