Everson told Good Morning America that it took her three days to complete her viral Grinch braids
Everson was dressed in a red sweat suit and topped off her intricate Christmas braids with a red knit hat.
The video, which was aptly set to ‘You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch,’ has been viewed more than 1.6 million times and has received thousands of comments.
‘This is ART,’ one fan wrote, while another added, ‘This is RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING.’
‘I have never seen anything like this,’ someone else gushed. ‘Mind is blown.’
Everson opened up about the over-the-top Christmas braids in an interview with Good Morning America, saying they took her three days to complete.
‘I try to be original and think outside the box so over the summer I came up with the idea to do NBA/NFL and holiday-themed braids,’ she explained.

Everson, who learned how to braid as a child by watching her older sister, has also shared videos featuring her sports team-inspired braid.
In her most recent clip, she paid homage to the Dallas Cowboys with blue, white, and silver braids featuring a star.
Everson promised that she will continue to outdo herself and post her work on TikTok following the success of her Grinch braids.
