As well as topping the songs list, Harry found himself seventh in the rankings for top artists globally, with Bad Bunny ruling the roost for a record breaking the third year in a row with more than 18 billion streams.

Bad Bunny’s album Un Verano Sin Ti tops the albums list just ahead of ‘Harry’s House’, while the former has three tracks in the songs list.

Meanwhile, Anti-Hero hitmaker Taylor Swift is in second place for the global artist list, while she’s topping the charts for listeners in the UK.

Her new album Midnights – which dropped last month – helped propel her to 805 million streams in the UK alone, with Drake, Ed Sheeran, Harry and Kanye West making up the rest of the UK’s top 5 artists.

Globally, Bad Bunny and Taylor are followed by Drake, The Weekend BTS, with Ed Sheeran and Harry just missing out in sixth and seventh place.

There are also plenty of love for new releases, with the UK’s top five albums all current releases, while Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour the only one over 18 months old.

It caps an incredible few months for Taylor as Midnights was only released in October, accelerating her to over 805m streams in the UK.

The album release was accompanied by a global campaign which saw Spotify billboards appear around the world, teasing new lyrics from the album in the days leading up to release.

Taylor is joined in the top 10 artists listened to by UK fans by five British performers: Ed Sheeran, Harry, Dave, Arctic Monkeys and D-Block Europe, which were unveiled as part of Spotify’s Wrapped announcement.

Last month, Taylor became the first artist in music history to claim the entire Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.

Taking to Twitter, she wrote: ’10 out of 10 of the Hot 100??? On my 10th album??? I AM IN SHAMBLES.’

The multi-platinum superstar has been taking pop culture by storm with the blockbuster release of her 10th studio album ever since it dropped on October 21.

Taylor accomplished the record-breaking feat with 10 songs from Midnights, unseating the rapper Drake, 36, who achieved nine of the Top 10 slots for one week in 2021.

In addition to Drake, Taylor also dethroned The Beatles for the crown of most titles from the top of the Hot 100 in a single week.

The singer’s historic seven-day conquest includes almost too many history-making achievements to mention, as she also notched the biggest week of album sales for any release in seven years.

Taylor’s massive fanbase only continues to grow more ravenous and she has been fueling the fandom by repeatedly hinting that a tour is on the horizon.

Speculation finally came to an end last month when the global superstar confirmed that she will be embarking on a world tour to support Midnights.

Taylor revealed the exciting news during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, sharing that while there are currently no dates set in stone, fans can expect her highly-anticipated tour will be happening ‘soonish.’

She said: ‘We will sometime soonish. It’s going to happen. We will do it and it will be great.’
