Herding cats? Rees-Mogg’s brood head back to school

No sign of any qualms about returning to school in the Rees-Mogg household.

Whilst some parents have expressed misgivings about sending their offspring back, the Leader of the House of Commons, Jacob Rees-Mogg, has his brood — or almost all of it — lined up, in uniform, ready for the start of term.

‘The holidays are over and my five older children certainly need, and want, to be at school,’ he says.

The family roll-call, in descending order, is Peter, 12, Mary, 11, Thomas, ten, Anselm, eight, and Alfred, out in front, four. 

Their youngest brother, Sixtus, three, remains at home for now.
