Holly Willoughby shrugs off Phillip Schofield ‘feud’ claims as she shares video of the two singing

Holly Willoughby appeared to shrug off any ‘feud’ claims with her co-host Phillip Schofield on Tuesday as she shared a behind-the-scenes video from the Dancing On Ice press launch on Monday.

In the clip, the two presenters aged 38 and 57, put the recent drama behind them as they playfully pretended to sing Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas Is You despite ongoing rumours of a rift.

Staring into each other’s eyes as they passionately lip synced the iconic chorus, Holly and Phil went on to share a sweet hug with a kiss on the cheek as the verse played out.

Clearly feeling overwhelmed with emotion, Holly quickly broke out of their hug as she threw her arms in the air and started playfully dancing to the Christmas tune.

The mother-of-three captioned the video with: ‘BTS #dancingonicechristmas …. it’s CHRIIIISSSSSTTTTTMAAAAAAAS! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️.’

To which Phil commented on the post with a single red heart emoji.

Holly’s video comes after she and Phil appeared to laugh in the face of drama on Tuesday as they discussed workplace bullying and office politics on This Morning.

The TV double-act were discussing three-part psychological thriller Sticks And Stones with stars of the show Ben Miller and Susannah Fielding, during which they laughed through the segment despite ongoing rumours of a rift.

As a teaser aired, Holly, 38, said: ‘Oh that’s intense. Are you going to watch? I’m going to watch!’, as Phillip, 57, agreed – just hours after she broke down in tears amid claims a ‘This Morning civil war’ is rife.

Holly and Phil were tickled by the fact that Ben seemed shocked at how good the show was – despite his starring role in the programme.

On the subject, Ben said: ‘It’s bullying, but it’s so clever because it’s really deniable bullying. It feels like a thriller because you ‘re thinking, “Is he going to stand up to these people or not?”

‘Then you start wonder whether he should have stood up to them. Should you meet bullying with essentially bullying itself?’

Ben went on to say: ‘It’s all “bants”, but without realising how it lands.’

As he then chatted about Susannah’s character, Ben said: ‘Meanwhile your character Isobel is a powerful woman who knows what she wants and is very ambitious. She appears to be his ally.’

Susannah said: ‘There are a lot of scenes where you think Isobel is helping him, but in Thomas’ mind he then starts to wonder if even that’s real’, while Holly said: ‘Right, I see. Even just watching the promo then you can feel the intensity of it.’

Ben admitted he became sensitive to his own behaviour: ‘It makes you think about the way you deal with people at work. When I ask them to do something, am I asking them in a way that’s respectful? Or am I asking in a way that’s abusing my power.’

On Monday night, emotional Holly reminisced about meeting Phillip on their hit show Dancing on Ice amid reports of a feud between the ITV presenters.

She struggled to hold it together at the show’s press launch on Monday, where she and Phil put on a united front in an attempt to dispel claims that they are at war.

In an interview with MailOnline she apologised for being tearful, saying: ‘Phil and I met on this show. There’s a lot of history. My kids really love the show as well…

‘I get quite emotional thinking about it, that all of them were carried in my tummy on this show and when we finished I always went off and had the babies… Oh my God you’re going to set me off!

‘So now it’s really nice because they love it and I tend to split it, I bring one of them each week, they come for the whole day and sit through the rehearsals. It’s really nice. It’s a real family show.’

Proving their close friendship and working partnership is still going strong, Phil joked to Holly: ‘You’re not pregnant are you?’ as she made every effort to compose herself.

Holly and Phil’s appearance on Monday comes just days after Phil was accused of creating a ‘toxic atmosphere’ for his This Morning co-stars, with allegations of ongoing spats with Holly and stand-in hosts Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes.

But the duo quashed speculation as they reunited for the launch of the dance series, that returns to screens in January.
