A mum has shared how to make delicious bunny cupcakes that are perfect for Easter – and she created the cute shape with just one simple trick.

Australian home baker, Rebecca, used tin foil balls to create the shape of the Easter bunny ears in a regular cupcake tray.

To make the festive treats she first whipped up a simple banana cake batter and poured it into 12 liners inside a cupcake tray.

She then ripped up a sheet of tin foil into small squares and rolled the squares into 36 small silver balls.

Rebecca then placed three foil balls behind each cupcake liner, she sat one at either side and one at the top to create bunny cheeks and ears.

She then cooked the cupcakes in her oven and when ready she let them cool before piping homemade buttercream frosting on top to create bunny fur.

To finish the cupcakes she added pastel sprinkles onto the frosting to create the bunny whiskers, pink noses and eyes.

Rebecca recommended to other bakers who want to give the treats a try, to only fill the cupcake liners up half way otherwise they will overflow and loose their shape.

She posted her creative cupcake design to a Facebook page and received thousands of likes from impressed bakers.
