I’m A Celebrity shocks viewers with double elimination – and one star appears elated with the result: ‘They seem overjoyed to be going home’

Adam Cooney and Nathan Henry were voted out of the jungle on Thursday’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia.

The beloved duo, who crafted a close friendship while starring on the show, were the last to be voted out ahead of the grand finale.

However, despite not making it to the end alongside Liz Ellis, Aesha Scott and Harry Garside, viewers on Twitter noticed Adam appeared ‘overjoyed’ to be going home.

‘This is the happiest we’ve seen Adam for at least a week,’ one fan tweeted.

‘Adam is definitely happy that his time in the jungle is up,’ added another.

Some fans believed the AFL star was simply happy to be going home, while others said his joy made it ‘easier’ to see him go.

‘I think Adam was missing home and I’m glad that he found a friend in Nathan for his time in the jungle,’ one said.
