I’m a popstar who was raised in LA, here’s what it’s like to grow up with a host of nepo babies

A popstar who attended school with a ton of celebrities’ kids has revealed what it was really like to grow up alongside a host of nepo babies – and dished on why children of B- and C-list stars are the absolute worst.

Izza Roze, a singer who was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, has opened up about what it entailed to be classmates with people who hailed from famous parents.

And according to the musician, who did not share what school she attended, mingling with the kids of Hollywood’s most elite meant there was never a dull moment.

‘I am from Los Angeles so I grew up with nepo babies. I went to school with them, I dated them,’ she explained in a video shared to her TikTok account earlier this year.

‘I remember this one time, this was in fourth or fifth grade, this nepo baby was complaining that her mom’s assistant had gotten her sushi from [the supermarket] Ralph’s at lunch.

‘And she was like, “I literally can’t eat this, this is disgusting, I’m gonna starve myself.” I was just sitting there like, “I had never had sushi in my life, what 10-year-old is eating sushi?”‘

Izza explained that the kids who had parents that were less famous often 'acted worse' than the ones who were really well known because 'they had more to prove.' She's seen as a kid

Izza explained that the kids who had parents that were less famous often ‘acted worse’ than the ones who were really well known because ‘they had more to prove.’

‘I always felt like the kids that had more famous parents, like the A-list celebrity parents, they were a lot more chill than the kids of parents who were B-list, C-list celebrities,’ she continued.

‘It’s because the kids with B-list and C-list parents felt like they had more to prove, they didn’t feel famous enough and they just acted worse.’

The singer and songwriter added that many of her classmates would ‘act out,’ something she believed they did because they didn’t ‘receive’ enough ‘love or attention’ from their famous parents.

‘The focus was on the parent, not the kid,’ she added, which is ‘really hard to understand as a kid.

‘That’s why I think a lot of them would act out because they were just trying to get attention.’

‘If they are trying to pursue the same career as their parent, I feel like it’s more of the parents wanting them to do that rather than themselves,’ she explained.

Izza added that she noticed that many of the nepo babies that she attended school with ‘lacked motivation’ because they were ‘already set’ and knew ‘there was no reason for them to work hard.’
