An irate driver stopped his car in the middle of the road and got out to confront another motorist after cutting them off.

Shocking dashcam footage shows the intense incident began with a near miss at an intersection in Wetherill Park, in Sydney’s southwest, on May 6.

The male driver initially backed out of a driveway on Mimosa Road in front of the motorist travelling behind and indicated he was turning right onto The Horsley Drive

A man was captured on camera getting out of his car to confront a fellow motorist after stopping his vehicle in the middle of the road

He changed his mind at the last moment, hit the breaks, and attempted to turn left, coming into the path of the trailing motorist.

The motorist managed to narrowly avoid hitting the man’s car and turned left onto The Horsley Drive as the first car turned alongside him.

The male driver came up past the motorist on the left and pulled ahead, driving in the middle of the two lanes and forcing the car behind to slow down.

He stopped his car, got out of the vehicle and charged towards the passenger side of the other car.

The motorist had no interest in a confrontation with the angry, well-built man and managed to weave around the other car and hightail it away.
