Ivanka enjoys Miami stroll as it’s revealed she and Jared are done with politics

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner have no plans to return to Washington DC or politics because they don’t want to wind up with their heads chopped off like Game of Thrones’ Ned Stark.

The former White House power couple have reportedly been comparing themselves to Stark when people ask them about their plans to return to politics should Donald Trump be re-elected president in 2024.

The fictional Ned Stark was famously decapitated after he was lured into the political viper pit of Westeros’ capital at the request of his close friend King Robert Baratheon.

Jared and Ivanka have decided they enjoy their ‘gilded’ life in Miami too much to rejoin Trump on the campaign trail, according to Vanity Fair.

The report comes just two days after Trump announced his plans to run in 2024, which was quickly followed by a statement from Ivanka announcing she would not be involving herself in the campaign.

On Thursday Ivanka was seen for the first time since skipping her father’s announcement, strolling down a sandy Florida path in a pair of white slacks and a black shirt.

The mother-of-three looked relaxed and carefree as she stepped out for a stroll – just as the Vanity Fair piece detailing her and Jared’s decision to step back from politics was published.

In the piece, it was claimed that the couple are embracing a quiet life in Florida, having escaped what they reportedly refer to as ‘the jackals’ in Washington, D.C.

According to Vanity Fair, Ivanka has ‘drawn a boundary around her relationship’ with her father for the first time, having spent years working closely with him – appearing on The Apprentice, working inside his company, and then serving as a senior advisor in his administration, alongside her husband.

The blunt line drawn by Ivanka was evident to all on Tuesday night, when Trump announced his 2024 run from Mar-a-Lago – an even from which his daughter was conspicuously absent.

She soon released a statement expressing her support for her father, but announcing that she would not be involving herself in her politics.

Ivanka's long blonde hair was loose around her shoulders and blew in the wind as she enjoyed her stroll just days after she officially wiped her hands of her father's presidential campaign

‘I love my father very much. This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family,’ she said.

‘I do not plan to be involved in politics. While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena.’

Jared and Ivanka moved to Florida after they left their posts at the White House, and quickly began laying down new roots.

They bought an 8,500-square-foot mansion on 1.3 acres for $24 million in 2021, with plans to move in shortly.

In the meantime they have been living in a ritzy three-floor apartment in one of their neighborhood’s most expensive buildings. The building has a tennis court on the roof, and the couple have a private pool and yard.

According to Vanity Fair, they have become such regulars at high-end restaurants like Carbone that customers barely turn their heads when they walk in these days.

‘No one cares anymore. They’re all rich and spending a lot of money,’ a source told Vanity Fair. ‘That’s the equalizer, and it’s stronger than anything else they’d agree or disagree on. Though it happens that they mostly agree here.’

The publication suggests that they have ‘found their crew’ in Florida – having been ostracized by many of the high-society connections they once socialized with while living in New York City.

In Miami, their close connection to Trump’s presidency is not seen as a smear on their reputations – quite the opposite in fact.

‘At many restaurants, owners and servers pat Jared on the back, a thank-you to Trump pushing to open businesses back up during the pandemic,’ the piece states.

The couple have been seen living it up in the sun since they left D.C.

Pictures of them frolicking on the beach with their kids have become mainstays in the tabloids, and Ivanka has posted pictures of herself wakeboarding, fishing with their kids, and vacationing across the world.

Ivanka has also been photographed with an ensemble of celebrity friends, most notably being spotted hanging out with Kim Kardashian a few weeks ago.

Jared has also been thriving. He wrote and published a memoir, Breaking History, which enjoyed a run at the top of The New York Times Best Seller List even while critics from the paper lambasted it in their reviews.

His new private equity firm, Affinity Partners, has also been thriving, with at least $3billion in backing from Saudi partners. The firm has a glorious office overlooking the ocean, and received at least 400 pitches in its first year, according to Vanity Fair.
