Jamie Dornan to star in brand new Stan Original series The Tourist

Jamie Dornan signs on to star in Stan Original series The Tourist… with filming to begin in Australia in the coming months

He played Christian Grey in the film trilogy series Fifty Shades of Grey.

And now, Jamie Dornan is gearing up for his new role in exciting new Stan Original series, The Tourist.

The show will be filmed in South Australia, with production set to commence in the coming months.

The Northern Irish actor, 38, will play a British man who finds himself stuck in the Australian Outback.

His character is injured in a hospital and unaware of his identity. He returns to the outback to find answers about his past.

‘The Tourist are some of the most exciting scripts I’ve ever read. I can’t wait to go to Australia with such a talented group of people,’ Jaime said.

The six-part thriller series, will also star some of Australia’s biggest names including Hugo Weaving.

Actress Danielle Macdonald, who also starred in Stan’s I Am Woman, Unbelievable and Golden Globe winning comedy Lady Bird, is also confirmed to star in the series.
