Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing pranks girlfriend Sophie Habboo by using her as a MOP to clear up a puddle of water in his latest lockdown joke

The laughs haven’t stopped since they confirmed their relationship in April 2019.

And Jamie Laing, 32, teased his girlfriend Sophie Habboo, 27, with another hilarious lockdown prank on Tuesday.

Pouring water onto their dining room floor, the Made in Chelsea star told Sophie: ‘I bet you a thousand pounds that I can clear up that water without using my hands,’ before dragging her along the floor like a mop.

Here we go again: Jamie Laing teased his girlfriend Sophie Habboo, 27, with another hilarious lockdown prank on Tuesday

‘Why are you ruining our garden? I mean house… ‘ questioned Sophie in confusion as Jamie poured the water onto their floor.

Sat opposite each other with their legs spread apart Jamie said: ‘I bet you a thousand pounds that I can clear up that water without using my hands.’

And Sophie was immediately suspicious of her boyfriend’s potential tactics: ‘You’re gonna use your foot!… You’re gonna use your butt!… You’re gonna drink it!’ she guessed.

But what the influencer didn’t see coming was Jamie using her as body as a mop.

‘Okay ready?’ asked Jamie before dragging Sophie across the floor and through the puddle as they both contorted with peals of laughter.

‘I can’t believe she actually fell for it,’ wrote Jamie beneath the hilarious video.

The prank is the latest of Jamie’s acts of mischief that Sophie has fallen victim to over lockdown.

In May, the Candy Kittens entrepreneur taped a ‘whistle if you think I’m hot sign’ to his girlfriend’s back.

Once the sign was in place on Habbs’ jacket, the pair headed out for their daily dose of exercise to hilarious consequences.

Habbs was none the wiser, sauntering along in front of Jamie, who whistled once or twice but without her cottoning on.

He then asked her: ‘Has anyone whistled at you while we’ve been out?’

‘No, why?’ she replied, before Jamie showed her the sign, leaving them both giggling.

And Jamie’s constant joking may well be the glue to their happy relationship as the reality star has admitted they’ve been pushed to breaking point by lockdown.

Surprise! Sophie guessed her boyfriend might drink the water or use his feet to clear the mess, but the influencer didn't suspect Jamie would use her as a mop

Speaking on FUBAR Radio’s access all areas he said: ‘My girlfriend and I nearly broke up about 400 times. We nearly broke up over Tupperware. Over Tupperware!’

And the Tupperware was far from the only thing that caused the pair to almost come to blows during the pandemic.

Recalling another squabble, Jamie said: ‘Why is there brown marks on the towel? She’s told me it’s definitely fake tan and I’m like, “well why is it on the towel?” Why is it on the towel?’

‘”I don’t know. It comes out in the wash.” No it doesn’t. it doesn’t come out in the wash!’

But Jamie proved he and Sophie were still going strong when he told The Sun in November: ‘She’s the best person I’ve ever met and I’m very lucky she’s my girlfriend.

‘When we walk down the street people look at me and think, “How has he done that?” And I just nod at them. Of course I’m punching above my weight.

‘When you find someone in your life that you know is beyond better than you in every single way, the last thing you ever want to do is hurt them. To lose her would be the biggest mistake of my life.’
