Jesinta Franklin took a cheeky swipe at Kim Kardashian on Monday, after Kim’s daughter North West sent social media into a frenzy with her impressive painting.

The model, 29, shared a photo to Instagram of a drawing her one-year-old daughter, Tullulah, had scrawled on a notebook.

‘First colouring book and pencils… she’s no North West, but it’s a start,’ she captioned the post, referencing the debate over whether North was really able to create an impressive Bob Ross-style landscape on her own.

Fellow model Ksenija Lukich commented below the post that it was a ‘masterpiece’.

Sunrise newsreader Edwina Bartholomew added: ‘Everything we have tried gets eaten.’

Jesinta replied that her daughter has also tried nibbling on her pencils, saying: ‘Oh yes, we now have a rainbow tongue. Tomorrow’s nappy should be interesting.’

In February, Kim, 40, posted her daughter North West’s incredible landscape painting, sparking a furious debate online. 

‘Just had to post this on my main feed bc it’s a North West Classic!’ she captioned it. 

The painting of snow-capped mountains overlooking a lake drew more than a million ‘likes’, but also became the subject of scrutiny.

The controversy prompted Kim to share more evidence of her daughter’s artistic prowess in the days to follow, including a video of the Hermès bag North, seven, painted for her as a baby. 

North’s impressive artwork subsequently made headlines after fans expressed their disbelief that a young child could paint so well.  

As skepticism grew, Kim furiously came to the defence of her daughter.

‘My daughter and her best friend have been taking a serious oil painting class where their talents and creativity are being encouraged and nurtured,’ Kim wrote on Instagram Stories.  

‘How dare you see children doing awesome things and then try to accuse them of NOT being awesome!?!?!

‘Please stop embarrassing yourselves with the negativity and allow every child to be GREAT!!! NORTH WEST PAINTED THAT PERIOTDDDDDABCDEFGZFDT!!!!!!!’
