‘This kiddo is amazing at everything!’ the With You singer wrote in the caption. ‘He is beautiful, kind, compassionate, obedient to his own heart, soulful, competitive, a gentle force of nature, observant, even tempered’ and ‘complimentary.’

She said he ‘hugs when he sees conflict in the room,’ and is ‘nurturing, athletic, intelligent, hopeful, daddy’s best friend, mommy’s snuggle monster, home run king, knows everyone’s next move, passionate, hilarious, a collector of baseball cards and crystals, one of a kind and good…he is just SO good.’

The I Think I’m in Love with You artist is also mom to daughters Maxwell, eight, and Birdie, one, with husband Eric Johnson, 40.

In a series of shots, Simpson – who’s lost 100 pounds since having Birdie last year – beamed as she celebrated with the family, with a baseball-themed cake and balloons.

The proud mom dubbed her son ‘a sunburst of light with the magic of a full moon,’ and said she’s ‘never known anyone more capable of making this world a better place.’
